MidLink, the Public Division of Emet Technologies, is growing and looking for a FinOps Engineer to join our FinOps Team, and assist our customers in optimizing their AWS cloud spend.

MidLink is an AWS Consulting Partner, constituting a one-stop-shop for all Cloud migration and modernization needs. We design well-architected cloud strategies, accurate methodology and tools for Cloud enablement and transformation.

What will your job look like?

• Consult on and co-develop tools for optimizing and minimizing clients’ cloud spend
• Analyse, optimize, and implement cost optimization over cloud services and plans
• Tag, alert and configurate support of financial monitoring of cloud platforms
• Work with customers’ financial and technical teams, understand needs and lead optimization processes.
• Create financial and usage dashboards customized to clients
• Work with the DevOps Team on reviewing and advising on optimization of cloud spend

Requirements:

• Experience as a FinOps Engineer.
• Experience with AWS services, architecture and tools
• Analytical and critical thinking approach and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
• Hands-on experience in cost optimization, cloud spend and cost management best practices
• Working knowledge in cloud spend management systems such as CloudHealth, Pileus, etc.
• Excellent client approach and ability to handle relationships and drive cost-efficiencies
• Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact at all levels
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, finances, or operations research
• Hands-on experience in Python and SQL – Advantage

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join our team. The AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing AWS-based solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS architecture and services, and will be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications. The AWS Solution Architect will work closely with our Account Managers, DevOps team, project managers, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with clients in order to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business objectives.
• Develop technical specifications based on business requirements, and communicate these specifications to developers, project managers, and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of AWS solutions.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of AWS solutions, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and implementing disaster recovery solutions.
• Work with Docker containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to build and deploy containerized applications.
• Collaborate with operations teams to manage and optimize networking, load balancing, and other infrastructure components.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improving our solutions and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Good verbal and written communication skills – Must.
• 2+ years of experience as an AWS Solution Architect or related field.
• Strong understanding of AWS architecture and services
• Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, including deployment and management of containerized applications.
• Strong knowledge of networking, including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
• Experience with security and compliance in AWS, including IAM, VPC, and encryption.
• Experience in CI/CD tooling and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a SaaS environment, including familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and environments.
• AWS certification(s) preferred.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 3+ years of sales experience in the fields of Cloud / Infrastructure / software in the Israeli market.
• Proven AWS Cloud solutions knowledge and selling experience.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects, while paying meticulous attention to details.
• BA/BSc degree in Business Administration, computing science or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer-obsessed, ability to work independently, reliable and focused and a team player.
• Ability to generate and direct complex sales projects through completion.
